Servicing a Heat Pump

An important Transformer to ensure the Heat Pump’s PC Board is powered. Had to replace this Transformer.
It is important to service the Heat Pump annually. Video illustrates how much dirt is attached to the Evaporator. This casues the efficiency of the Heat Pump to decline.

If the Presure Regulating Valve (PRV) is leaking excessive water from the overflow it does not necessary means the valve is faulty. It may be releasing water due to a plumbing problem.
A pinhole water leak inside the roof. Causing substantial damage to the ceiling and everything below the ceiling. The cause of the pinhole water leak was due to corrosion.
When there is no circulation between the Geyser and the Solar on a Split Solar Geyser.
With a Solar Geyser the Plumber needs to have certain knowledge and skills. What we found after a Plumber did not undertand why an Air Release Valve is on a Split Solar Geyser.



The Drip Tray is not suppose to carry the weight of the Geyser. The wooden beams directly under the Geyser feet with the Drip Tray between is the correct installation.
